PFS3 has sold relatively well - it was the second best selling Amiga product
at the show in Cologne (after OS3.5) - but that's still not very good in
absolute terms, simply due to the decline of the Amiga market.

Under half of PFS2 users have upgraded, those that haven't have mostly
left the Amiga community. Ramjam are the only UK retailers, and we've
sold a little over 100 copies (and a sizeable minority of those were
overseas). I don't know how many copies Great Effects had pressed,
but I'd guess between 1000 and 2000. That volume of sales makes useful
pocketmoney for Great Effects but nowhere enough to live on.

PFS2 sold better, but not every retailer paid Great Effects for the
copies they sold, so the overall income was less than it should have
been for that.

As for the future, only sales demand will encourage further development...
